Buffet R13 Bb Clarinet 765XXX

All of our Buffet clarinets are hand-selected from a large batch of instruments either at Buffet USA headquarters or in our own shop from extended inventory as we are a Platinum Dealer. These instruments require extensive set-up, and we put in several hours of work to optimize the instruments. Our standard Professional Setup includes:

PROFESSIONAL SETUP
- Complete disassembly
- Dressing tone holes as needed
- Key fitting
- Pad floating and replacement as needed
- Lubricating mechanism
- Key heights and venting for maximum resonance and refined intonation
- General spring balancing

ARTIST SETUP
Our Artist Setup goes above and beyond our standard setup. In addition to everything above, the Artist Setup includes additional acoustical refinement, precise mechanical adjustments, and complete replacement of the "stick on" bumpers and bladder /skin pads installed by Buffet on R13s. In our opinion, these are the worst pads and bumpers that you can install on a professional clarinet in terms of their longevity and natural feel. We offer Artist setups in cork pad (upper joint), leather, and synthetic configurations. 

We usually keep Artist R13s in all 3 pad configurations in stock, but reach out if you have a preference for specific pad configurations. 

Every new instrument with an Artist Setup includes a 1-year repair warranty in ADDITION to the manufacturer's warranty. This includes 1 Clean-Oil-Adjust with no labor charges.

All new instruments include Brian's recommended break-in instructions for proper wood maintenance and care.
