The Corbin Eb clarinet barrel is designed to give you the best Eb clarinet experience you can achieve.


The bore design of the Corbin Eb barrel allows for significantly improved intonation, better resonance in the typical "weak" registers of the instrument, improved security in the upper register, and overall better response.


You can choose the standard wooden rings, or a "cut-out" that allows you to use Bb soprano clarinet reeds on your Eb mouthpiece without trimming the reeds.


We recommend choosing at least .5mm longer barrel than the stock due to the unique bore design.

Wonderful Eb barrels! Great service!

These barrels look very beautiful , but most importantly play great. They will help you even out all registers, response is easy and they resonate with a beautiful sound.
If you have any questions Brian is there to answer them as he is very helpful and knowledgeable. shipping was also very quick. .

New Eb barrel

Overall I like the new barrel but I had to take it and my clarinet to a repair person to enlarge the inside of the barrel as it wasn’t reamed enough and it wouldn’t fit into the clarinet. Once I get it back, I’m sure I will love it.

Thanks so much for the review. We check all of our barrel socket sizes on new instruments with standard tenon sizes before shipping, but many instruments have tenons that are swollen or experience wood shrinkage that may prevent the perfect fit. We are happy to adjust socket sizes down if it's not a good fit and you wanted to send the barrel back, but I hope the repair tech is able to easily fit this to your instrument (it's a quick fix that should take no more than a few minutes). I hope you'll love the barrel after the adjustment.
