Meaning \"green sea turtle\" in Hawai'ian, the Honu bass clarinet mouthpiece was inspired by trips to the North Shore of O'ahu, watching the sea turtles in their natural habitat. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBased on the same large A-frame chamber design as my original Custom mouthpiece but with a slightly lower internal baffle, the Honu bass clarinet mouthpiece provides all of the qualities of the Corbin Custom blank with a slightly warmer, deeper sound due to the table and baffle.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eEach mouthpiece is CNC-milled from solid German rod rubber and extensively hand-finished for a refined look, feel, and sound. The O-rings provide a perfect seal and a longer-lasting, cheaper alternative to cork.
